PHP 5.1.1 and bitrix

Гость	#1 18.01.2006 18:05:30 Is it possible, that bitrix doesnt work because of PHP 5.1.1 on server? http://www.vilnervinkl.lt Also, when trying to install bitrix, "Web Server" is "Unknown" and in red. Could it be the problem? Any suggestions how to solve it?

Hi,

There can be problem with Zend encoded version under PHP 5.1.x.
It is a problem of Zend encoding algorithm that started support of PHP 5 only recently.

We plan to supply encoded versions with support PHP 5 in the near future.

At present moment it is recommended to use PHP 4.x.x.

You can upgrade PHP version just after downloadin commercial version of the product and after all the updates applied.

Did not meet the problem with Unknown server.
Which server do you use? Or which server version?

Гость	#3 19.01.2006 10:32:49 Hi, It seems that while installing, bitrix doesnt recognize server type and version and writes "Unknown" in red. I,ve put phpinfo() now on http://www.vilnervinkl.lt, it says Apache there and everything is ok... Could it be only PHP 5.1.1 fault then?
